Motif Poetry is proud to present the second annual Wham Bam Tauranga Poetry Slam. It's alive. It's energetic. It explodes from the mic and flies around the room!

Get ready for three rounds of audience-judged, original work from established and emerging local performers. The poets battle it out and, by the end of the night, we will crown a new Tauranga Slam Champ who will go on to represent Tauranga at the national NZ Poetry Slam! There will also be a performance by reigning New Zealand Poetry Slam Champion Daniel Goodwin.

Our slams are safe, fun, inclusive spaces and, whether you perform sonnets, rap, activism or comedy, all styles are welcome in this fun format.
