A fun school holiday session in the library to learn about the Matariki cluster and what the stars Waipuna-a-rangi & Ururangi represent. Play a game of Bingo to learn some traditional Maori weather forecasting methods, hear a story, and get crafty with three different activities: a coloured rain cloud experiment, growing plants in paper, and making a constellation projector to take home.

Suitable for children of all ages. Some younger participants may need accompanying adult assistance. Adults are required to remain with their children.

Bookings essential.
