The Imperial Russian Ballet Company and its New Zealand promoters regrettably advise that due to the ongoing global situation regarding Coronavirus and the associated travel restrictions, the two performances of The Nutcracker & Don Quixote scheduled to take place at Baycourt Community & Arts Centre this year have been postponed until November 15-16, 2021. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Existing tickets will be honoured for the new tour dates, while refunds are also available for current ticket holders who are unable to attend the rescheduled show.
Ticket holders wanting a refund should submit a request to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday 7 August, 2020. Tickets purchased by credit or debit card will be refunded in full (including ticket insurance premium, if relevant). Patrons should allow up to 30 working days for the refund to appear in their account after the refund has been requested.
If your credit or debit card has been permanently closed/cancelled or the card has expired, please click here to supply Ticketek with updated bank details in order to process your refund. If you do not provide the correct details, Ticketek will be unable to refund your tickets.
Patrons who purchased tickets from the Baycourt Box Office using cash or EFTPOS will receive a full refund to a bank account. Please click here to provide Ticketek with your bank accounts details.

Following their sell-out 2019 performances of Swan Lake, the Imperial Russian Ballet Company return to Tauranga to perform a double bill, The Nutcracker & Don Quixote.
ACT 1 - The Nutcracker, famous for Tchaikovsky's musical genius, features one of the most recognisable and enduring music scores ever written. Set at Christmas time, a young girl dreams of her Nutcracker prince and their adventures together.
ACT 2 - Don Quixote, a retired gentleman and his faithful squire Sancho Panza travel the roads of Spain searching for glory and grand adventure. Don Quixote gives up food, shelter and comfort for the love of a peasant woman Dulcinea del Toboso.
The Imperial Russian Ballet Company was formed in 1994 by the Bolshoi Theatre soloist, Gediminas Taranda. The Imperial Russian Ballet Company comprises 40 dancers from the major ballet schools of Russia.
