Come and network and learn new choreographic strategies to take back to your classrooms, from two of NZ's most experienced contemporary dance choreographers.
For both studio and NCEA dance teachers wanting to develop their choreographic skills; with tips, exercises and strategies to take back to your classrooms/students.
Workshop content will be useful for both choreographic pedagogies, for creating competition dances, and for guiding improvisations. Ask questions about the challenges you have in teaching and facilitating choreography and network with other likeminded dance teachers.
This fun and supportive workshop will be taught by Auckland based master teachers and choreographers Sarah Knox and Sarah Foster-Sproull. The Sarah's have a collective 30+ years of contemporary dance performance, teaching and creating in diverse contexts. Places strictly limited.
Trigger Dance is also hosting an adult community choreography class (open to all), a two day workshop for teenage dancers and private coaching sessions during 18-20 July in Tauranga. All details available at the Trigger Dance website.
