An exhibition showcasing experienced bone carver Gavin Smith’s journey of reconnection. Gavin began his journey of whakairo (carving) 17 years ago. He shares how whakairo has changed the way he sees the world through his journey of discovery and cultural reconnection.This exhibition is his interpretation of the significance of manu within Te Ao Māori (the Māori world).
This exhibition is on from Friday, 15 June until Thursday, 28 June (Opening night ONLY open from 5.30pm - 8pm)
